training a puppy on a scheduled feeding time is the easiest way to potty train them. give then their food for 15 minutes, and whatever they don't eat in that time gets pick up. then wait another 15 minutes, then take them outside. Pooping coinsides with eating. Shortly after eating your puppy is going to have to go to the bathroom. WHen you use scheduled feeing you will know when your puppy is going to have to go to the bathroom so you can have less accidents in teh house if you are trying to potty train them outside. free feeding is harder to predict pooping times since they have access to food all day you never know when they are gonna have to poop.
