I bought Straszny some doggie stairs from bed bath and beyond (you know, those "seen on tv doggie stairs"), and he goes up them fine, but down is another story. He won't. He isn't a tiny guy either. He is about 7and a half pounds. But it IS kind of a scary angle for him. There are only 3 stairs, and it is just not high enough for him. I can't decide if I should keep them to at least help him get up onto the bed (he sleeps there when I am at work, i have tile flooring in my apartment), or if I should just take them back. What do you guys suggest? And what do you use to help your babies get up?

Here is a pic of similar stairs. Ours also have only 3 steps. You can order a fourth one to add on, but I don't know if I should...he will probably still refuse to go down...

We got the one with four steps for Dudley to get into bed. We have the 3 steps in the living room to get him on the couch. It took a little while, but he goes up and down just fine, now.
