Meeko goes to bed with us around 10pm, we watch tv until we fall asleep. Meeko's spot is in between our pillows. He gets about a sq. ft. of his own space. Just enough to touch us both at the same time.
Frank gets up at 5:30am, sometimes Meeko will get up with him and use his pad and while Frank is in the shower, Meeko will come back to bed. He usually scoots under the covers with me until I get up around 6:30am. He then sits/lays on his bed next to the tub while I am in the shower. Once I get out, he walks around and plays with toys or the cat until time to get in his crate, where he stays while I am at work.
I will say.... on the nights that we come home and go straight to bed, it takes Meeko quite a while to settle down and come to bed. He is restricted to the bedroom only, but he plays and plays with his toys and the cat until he gets tired. Uneventually, I feel him snuggle in with us.
