i know all the vet's i've worked with like to stick with one quality food, but i've been thinking that maybe if they are introduced to a variety of foods when they are little they will be less prone to upset tummies and diarrhea if they ever get ahold of things like table food, different treats, and an emergency bag of dog food that had to be picked up in a hurry for whatever reason. Dogs who are one one food their whole life sometimes will not eat at the vet's office when they are hospitalized because the food we give them (I/D) is not 'their food'. I think if they are used to getting different things then they won't turn their noses up at something that is given to them when needed AND, i'm hoping, they won't get sick when getting something their not used to.
