I can't decide if I should keep them to at least help him get up onto the bed (he sleeps there when I am at work, i have tile flooring in my apartment), or if I should just take them back. What do you guys suggest? And what do you use to help your babies get up?

Here is a pic of similar stairs. Ours also have only 3 steps. You can order a fourth one to add on, but I don't know if I should...he will probably still refuse to go down...
If I were you , I would just build some out of plywood....I have never had a problem with that...Tiny is only 5 pounds and he has no problem getiing up and down out of bed...And our bed is probably about 3 ft off the ground, I wonder why he is having problems getting in and out of bed? How tall is your bed off the ground? But seriously...Get someone to build you some out of plywood and then add carpet!...So that you can make them the way he likes!!
