I just started using a coupler this week. I am starting out just using it around the yard till they get used to it. The kind I have doesn't get tangled, but the individual lines get twisted. (not with the other one) They have to learn to walk together - not sure how long that will take! It is fun though, to see them walking together - hopefully soon we can go to the park and stuff with it.
