 Kali Had to stay at the vets
Yesterday afternoon Kali started having loose stool. Then she started vomiting. She had been completely normal all morning. We took her to the emergency vet because of the fear of dehydration. They checked her out took x-rays. Could not find out what was wrong. They thought it must be some sort of viral or bacterial infection. They put fluid under her skin and gave her a shot and some antibiotic and sent us home. Hubby and I were up all night with her. She continued to vomit. She finally stopped vomitting at and was able to keep pedialyte down and I was rubbing Super cal on the roof of her mouth. She did urinate 2x this am. She went to our regular vet early and she kept her. She wants to run an IV thru her. I feel so bad for my little girl. She said they may or may not keep her overnight depending on how she comes along today. Please keep her in your prayers. |
