My babies had an action packed weekend!! Saturday morning at 10 a.m. we went to the groomers. They didn't get a bath -- they just had their nails cut, their anal glands expressed (yucky lol), a major trim for the summer (a very short puppy cut), any hair removed from their ears and a good brushing. They looked fantastic and ready for the BEACH!!! After the groomers, my dad and I took the pups to Floyd Bennett. We brought lunch, chairs and an umbrella (in case the babies got overheated). They had so much fun but especially Tee Tee because she LOVES the water!! We stayed there from 1 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m. Then we went back to my dad's house where I showered and gave the babies a bath -- they were full of sand! LOL! Then I let them run around the yard and play in their baby pool. Dad and I ordered Chinese food for dinner and ate in the yard. Then I went home around 9 p.m. and all 3 of us passed out on the bed! LOL!! My poor babies were exhausted!!
Sunday morning I made them Pup Cakes (it's puppy cupcakes lol) and we went for a nice long walk. Then we went to my aunt's house for a barbecue and watched the soccer game.
ITALY WON!! FORZA ITALIA!!!! 
And then we went to pick hubby up from JFK Airport -- they babies were SOOO happy to see him! I parked the car and walked into the airport with them on their leashes and no one stopped us or asked us to leave (big shocker). Jim brought home lots of gifts (treats for the babies and a few clothes for them -- he got Codie this awesome Yankee jersey) and some stuff for me. All in all, it was a great weekend!
