I LOVE yark work, too bad I don't have one and live in an apartment so I can't change anything!!!!
My dad just talked to me about this same thing the other day. He offered to power wash his neighbors house (she is an elderly lady that had commented on how nice his house looks) and he has been mowing her grass for her and doing odd jobs. She offered to pay him but he's retired and really doing it b/c he likes too and he said she was so overwhelmed by his kindness she continues to bake him cookies and pies. He appreciates it but couldn't understand why nobody else had ever helped her out. People are not the same, I agree!!!!
