Thought I would post this question and see if others have experienced the same problem. We have tried to get hired help around our place for several years now and it is impossable to get someone willing to weed wack and do other yard chores, painting, etc. Last year I had several bids on painting our home, but the contractors all said in and out in one day, spray painting and don't do brush painting, no caulking

their bids were way out of site, I have always painted so back to it I went. Caulking under the eves is a job and thankful that I got it done, but it sure would have been nice to hire someone that is willing to do these things, I wonder if it is because people are lazy or ????? Our kids were taught to help our elderly neighbors, and at the same time refused to be paid for it. In these times, where we live the kids don't know what work is but sure can tear up and down the road in the dune buggies and motor bikes, and being on private roads we have to maintain them

I look back in life and am thankful that my parents taught us to do things and that work was something to look back on as accomplishments, there is a lot of things equipment can do but it takes hands to do the work. Oh well, thats my input on this subject, back to work.
