Thanks for the info. I contacted the breeder to let her know my puppy had this problem and her comment was "I didn't sell you a breeder". I cannot believe her attitude but as I said I found out too late that she was not a reputable breeder. Yorkies are such precisous creatures. I am a little nervous about the surgery and what taking care of her afterwards will entail but will do everything I can to help her through this. I thought about becoming a breeder at one time but was too afraid I would want to keep every puppy.
