This is life, I personally don’t sweat the small stuff. I have never cared what people think of me as I have always known it is more important, what I think of myself. In my opinion, it is not that you need a thicker skin as much as you need to understand that we are individuals, entitled by our very nature to think, feel, and behave in manners ruled and measured by our own individual experiences, genetics, maturity, intellect, and probably a whole host of other abilities or lack there of.
I think the worst mistake to make in this life is to not be one’s self, unabashedly! Just my opinion. |
I totally agree with you. I also think that sometimes people start a thread that is filled with emotions that they have, and people reply and the person gets even more upset, and the people that have posted meant no harm at all (sorry very long run-on sentence). I understand people's threads can be construed as negative, but I feel the same sshaw does I really don't get bothered by it. I think if someone posts a question/concern on here they should be open to constructive criticism. Me personally I would want someone to tell me how they feel as opposed to sugar coating it, but I grew up with 3 older brothers so I had no choice
