Looking for a teacup I bought mine off of yahoo classifieds, also a good place to check is hoobly.com. Most breeders don't like the term teacup so you might also search for Tiny Yorkie. The parents of my little girl were 2.5 - 3 pounds and that's pretty darn tiny, so even though her ad didn't say teacup I felt safe purchasing her. I would look more at the parents size than trying to find a "runt" that might be unhealthy. If I were you, I'd look in the 4 pounds or under range. Some suggestions are to look at the price, a $300-$500 range online for a teacup is most likely a sign that it's not legit. It'll be much more closer to the $1,000+ range.
When I bought Lola the ad actually said she'd prefer not to ship but would consider it. I found a site that was reputable for shipping and e-mailed her the info. I think it's a partnership when buying a puppy. When you contact someone they should give you lots of information about the puppy and even their phone number. Good luck in your search!
