 Sick after shots
My little 12 week old Abbey got her second set of shots this morning and began vomiting about an hour after. She did eat more than she usually does this morning (I shouldn't have let her do that knowing she was getting her vaccines). She vomited 3 times and then when she voided, her urine was bright orange! So, vet said bring her right in and to leave her so she could be watched.
I just hate it! Our vet seemed to do everything right, too. He said because she was so tiny (29 ounces)and a Yorkie, he didn't want to give her all her shots at once, so he is spacing them out over a couple of months. He also said that way, if she were to have a reaction, he would know exactly which vaccine was causing the problem. He is also using newer vaccines made just for toy dogs. Yet, she is still sick. My 'nurse' self is saying she is going to be just fine, but my 'mommy' self is really worried. I am not sure if it is because she over ate or from the vaccine..or a combination of both.
