Buddy has a very silky coat, however I have never let it grow to long.
In the summer I get him a puppy cut. He is like velvet and loses the
part on his back when this gets done. He too had thin hair but he is now
2 1/2 and from getting him cut his hair is thicker and he even has chest
hair now! It was sparce last year so I guess the cutting has really
benefited him. I had him shaved down last year but this summer back
to puppy cut. I think you will like it. His face is cut just a little below his
mouth with about 1" beard. He looks adorable and I know he feels cooler
and carefree. I just wipe him mouth after eating and drinking water.
