I've been wanting a grooming arm for some time now as it's difficult for me to do any grooming at all as my hands aren't very strong cause of the MS. Even getting his topknot in these days has been difficult. Sweet hubby surprised me with a neat grooming arm that works perfectly. He made it from...now get this...a part from the kids' old stroller (my kids are now 16 and 13)!!
I knew he said that someday the parts would come in handy...guess I'll have to eat my words! (I do hope we don't have to wait another 13 years for him to find uses for the rest of the thing!  ) |
They say necessity is the mother of invention. I don't have MS, I have CIDP which is a chronic nerve disorder. And it has similar symptoms to MS weak shaky hands. So I made myself a grooming arm for the same reason.
