I think there is hope for Maggie!! My Ranger had crazy messy puppy hair:

I let his hair grow out some and then got it all cut off, so there was no puppy fur left and now at 4 months his hair looks A LOT better:

His ears have also neglected to stand, but I love him floppy eared!!
