Am I the only person who thinks mixing beautiful breeds is ok? lol.Seriously,I think it is because Iv seen a few of those mixes and I think theyre adorable and would LOVE to have one
We dont get charged for mixes here,they are free as a rule or we only pay for what the first shots cost which is very little..but I guess I would pay a small amount for one if I had too.I am even looking into breeding Jess with a maltese..I guess that sounds AWFUL to most of you..lol.The bottom line is,I think that some breeders go over the top with all the breeding for perfection thing,what happened to pet quality? I am in a totally different country where everything is done totally different,which means that even if I wanted a breeder that bred textbook perfect yorkies I probably wouldent find one here (Id probably have to go to the mainland).Here there are a few breeders,but none of them sell their pups and make you promise you wont breed,or get you to sign something saying you will spay etc..its all alot more laid back and although the breeders keep intouch with the pups (mine still e-mail me) they dont put you down if you want to breed your pet,infact,they actually help you find a male,fix papers etc..They even offer to help you find homes for the pups (they get nothing out of this).Remember,I am in a country that DOESNT encourage spaying or neutering
I phoned Jessies breeder this morning and asked her if she had a male maltese up for breeding after the summer and she said yes and that she wouldent charge me the usual for this service (obviously)..she even offered to bring him here if I choose this option (here its usually the female that goes to the male).I still havent decided what to do but I wouldent want to be called names if I decided to do this
..I think this mix is adorable and being here I wouldent be making money at all because as I said,mutts are usually free unless of course I charge for their first sets of shots.I would be doing it for the love of this particualr mix and I think thats fine
