It all varies depending on the Yorkie, I guess. My Emilee went into her first heat at one day before she turned 17 months old. My Gidget went into her first heat when she was 16 months 14 days. They are not related in any way, and Gidgets litter mate sisters have already had their 2nd heat and puppies.
