My parents' yard is fenced in, and it is SO nice when we go over there...we just open the door to let the doggies run out and go potty then they come right back to the door. I am really looking forward to the day when we'll have a fenced in yard. You will REALLY enjoy it, and I am sure Kizzy will, too. When you get your yard fenced in, she will be able to hang out outside and explore. |
lol, nope she won't be able to hang around outside and explore but a very few minutes at a time. she will go out to potty and be put right back on the porch or the deck pretty quick. I dont want her outside rolling in the grass and picking up and eating sticks and grass and what ever else. I have two big trees in my front yard and both will be inside the fence. they are water oaks and so nice for shade. but twigs and acorns fall off and Kizzy already gave us a bad scare once from eating something on the ground and getting sick. So I just keep putting her back on the porch or the deck as they are both covered and all she has to do is come to the storm door in front to get in and she will bark at the back to come in. I also dont like the idea of her getting dirt in her hair and smelling like dirt. she can be a porch monkey or something. just want to fence to secure her in while she potties and I cant stay with her and to keep other animals out for her protection too.
