Default My name is Janice and I'm a Yorkie-a-holic...

OMG - I am going through the exact same thing right now - weighing the pros and cons just like you are. I am the same way and feel that I've totally lucked out with Oscar. He's got a fantastic temperament - super high energy when he's playful, and always content, and doesn't bark (EVER). When I went looking for a puppy, I wasn't concerned with size, I just wanted a yorkie - well Oscar ended up being a bit smaller than we had originally thought (3lbs) and now if I was to get another one, I wouldn't want them to be any bigger (or at least not much). I really really want to get a female and I think Oscar would LOVE having a playmate. But then I think about all the things you mentioned - like what if I'm ruining a perfectly good thing. I take Oscar everywhere with me (he goes to work with me everyday) but if I was to get another, I wouldn't be able to do that so easily anymore. I know it would be more work...and I wonder if ultimately I'd be able to HANDLE two dogs on my own - even though everyone says it's not much different than having one... hmm... It's such a big decision - but everytime I hear people talking about their multiple furbabies my heart just aches with envy...

I HAVE found a breeder with a little girl furbaby.... eeeeshh... GOD HELP ME I'M HOOKED!!!!
