I'm not a breeder nor an expert but I think that a male would have to be at least 8-10 months to be bred. The stud fee and/or pick of the litter varies based on what people wants. I live in southeast Texas and people usually prefer pick of the litter rather than pay a stud fee. I think it's basically up to you and the other person
