My parents have a yorkie that sounds exactly like yours. She is very aggressive towards everyone but our immediate family. However, if someone new comes into our home or we bring a new puppy into the home, we make sure that KoKo is introduced to them and she has a chance to sniff and get to know them. Then she is fine. If we locked KoKo up, she would become even more aggressive and angry and I personally think it would kill her to be locked up away from her family. But, I know how you feel having an aggressive dog. But I truly believe that he can be trained if done in the proper manner.
