I think biting fingers is like a game to teething puppies...
My yorkie puppy keeps biting my fingers whenever I try to pet her! So, I tell her NO until she backs away and I give her a chew toy instead.
Now before I try to pet her, I make a fist with my hands so she can't reach my fingers.
