We homecook for Punkin and our vet says that she needs calcium and recommended plain, sugar free low fat yogurt or cottage cheese. Punkin loves it and will wait patiently until the dollop lands on top of her food before she tackles her meal. She gets a teaspoon (or a bit more ) twice a day.
