First, I wouldn't hit your dog (even a tap) you don't want to make him hand shy. This is what I did when Sadie did that to me....(was recommended by a dog trainer) I picked her up, kinda gave her a LITTLE jolt, looked her in the eyes and loudy said NO....DON'T DO THAT TO ME! Then I put her down and walked away...I only had to do this once. If you feel the puppy is getting aggresive I wouldn't allow the play biting....it is going to be hard for him to distinguish between the two...
