Home again We just got back from a 2 1/2 week vacation, and Eddie was a real trooper. Not only did he fly in a carry-on for two six-hour flights, but he was exposed to 114-degree heat in Vegas, boarded for a week, taken on two 10-hour car rides and then turned loose at a family gathering with 100 people and a bunch of Yorkie-swarming kids. To add insult to injury, we returned home for one day, then took him and Jack camping for two days in Alaska. He's one well-traveled pup, that's for sure. I was quite proud of him.
Here are a few pics of Eddie on the road.
1. Eddie gives my great niece a kiss. He was VERY good playing gently with her.
2. Eddie meets his "cousin," a 6-month-old Bakersfield chihuahua.
3. Another great niece tests Eddie's patience. He passed.
4. This was Eddie's second time in a pool. He didn't love it, but didn't sink. (Ignore the fat, old, white guy. He's just Eddie's trainer.)
