We give Ruby yogurt on our fingers to train with, she doesn't like dog treats very much, but will lick the yogurt from our fingers. Kind of messy but it works, when nothing else would. Throughout the day she probably gets a couple of tablespoons of yogurt and it doesn't seem to hurt her in anyway. She still eats her other food just as much as before and her stools haven't changed consistency or anything, so I think at least this much is okay.
