We used the loud "ouch" or "NO" using our "Alpha" voices to stop Toto from biting and nipping ... we always immediately gave her something that she was
supposed to bite on and it worked for us! She knows the difference in play biting and actually hurting! I believe the most important thing is to make sure they have lots and lots of chewing things around.
