We put wood laminate in the kitchen and it's great. Matter of fact, the living room and hall way are getting the carpet removed and the same put down this weekend. You have to get the good quality laminate, don't get the cheap stuff, it will buckle. Here's a pic of Petey standing on the laminate floor and the pups resting on it.
