I can't wait to get rid of our carpet (next project). I've seen some slate tiles, darker in color, muted colors, with a slight roughness to it's surface. They seem like they might be more prone to breaking, but softer than ceramic tiles, (for falling yorkies), and the surface wouldn't be slick when wet. Has anyone used these?
