Shall I just try to ignore the crying or is it ok for her to sleep under the basket, she is so small she cant get out from under it, but it's the fact she is sleeping under a basket lol |
I bought my 2nd yorkie 3 weeks ago. I made the mistake of letting her stay in a cordoned off area in my pantry. She slept there a couple of nights. Later I decided that I should put her in the crate at night as she was using it during the day. I got the same response from her as you did from Lillie. Now I leave the crate in there with the door opened so she can get out and sleep in her bed if she wants to. I peek in there and find her in the crate, but when I shut the door she starts up. I've just decided to let her have the door opened. I know I should let her stay in the crate locked up until she stops, but she can go on for hours. I also made the mistake of letting her have a night light. The other night we forgot to turn on her night light and she fussed and fussed until we turned it on. I don't know what we can do. I am hoping to find ideas from your thread!!!
