Is anybody else dealing with grass allergies in their yorkie? And is there something special you are doing to relief the itchyness and skin problems? I've heard foods that are high in omega-3 could work, combined with a food supplement and good shampoo. Any suggestions for those?
Sorry, I don't really have any suggestions...
My Trixie also has allergies towards grass. She will start sneezing and she will get a rash. I use special shampoo, she gets bewers yeast and her dog food has omega 3 in it. Nonetheless, not of that works. The only thing I have found was to give her benadryl before I took her outside, the vet also gave me some pills for her allergies but she can't be on them very long because they have steroids in them, but they do help. Oh and my vet also gave me some pills that are good for her and she can take them for a long time and they really help, but they are expensive. They are called dermacaps, the extra strength kind.
