Silky or modified? Hmmm...I'm not sure. I've not heard that terminology before. He doesn't seem silky though - that's for sure!

I've tried the Coat Handlers brand shampoo and conditioner and I also recently purchased several Plush Puppy products -the shampoo, conditioner, and swish creme, all are supposed to help hydrate a dry coat. I've even tried some of my own Silk Therapy on him. Nothing has helped!

I'll check to see if his food has fatty acids. Hopefully he is just transitioning to an adult coat, but, because it doesn't seem to have grown much, I'm really beginning to think he has a wiry coat.

If anyone has tips on how to take care of a yorkie wiry coat, please let me know. It would also really help if you could post some pics, so I have an idea of what to expect his adult coat to look like.
