We're back safe and sound. We had such a good time. The drive there was a little iffy. Sissy started out great in her Lookout Console seat for the first hour or so. I needed to make a rest stop and Sissy went, too. We met a cute 8 year old blind yorkie named Teddy while there. Well, she did not want to get back in the car!! We ended up stopping again at the next rest area because she whined so much I thought maybe she needed to potty again. I think that actually made it worse. She finally settled down about an hour later.

When we got to my girlfriend's house, Sissy met Brutus (her two year old Bichon) and Buster (her daughter's 7 week old Bichon). At first she was very timid and ran away when they would come up to her. But within a few hours, they were chasing each other, rolling around and having a blast. I don't think Sissy has ever played that hard before!!

We visited the Lake Michigan channel on Sunday. She loved the sand, but wasn't too sure about the water (she only got her feet wet). The drive home today was much better. She still didn't want to get back in the car after we stopped at the rest area, but she settled down very quickly the rest of the way home. We stopped at my brother's cottage for a few hours, too.
