Sissy has the mini nobbly-wobbly ball and she loves it. I think it made for cats since it has a bell inside. The material it is made of is brightly multi-colored, hard rubber, but it bounces and I don't think your baby could get it apart if she tried. I got ours at Meijer's in the pet department, but I have seen them other places as well.
