I got this awesome book/binder with step by step directions on when and how to clean what part of your house. It is awesome. It tells you how often to do things like clean curtains, etc. Alot of it is stuff I should figure out by myself, but I like having instructions. It is by Better Home and Gardens magazine, it is called "Making a Home: Housekeeping for Real Life". I got it in 2002 though, but I am sure they still have it. Go to
