A lot of it depends on how big your baby will be. I dont think that it's good to bring home a little 1 lb puppy at 7 or 8 weeks.. I brought Cali home at 10.5 weeks..I couldn't wait either..she was around 2 lbs. I know exactly how anxious you are..I had to wait through the heat and everything, too. But that extra week or two helped Cali out alot. I will tell you this..Cali's brother went home around 7 weeks and he bites and nips a lot more than Cali and doesnt listen as well when told no..even though a big part of it is environment.. JMHO GOOOOOD LUCK!!
