I'm so sorry that happened to you!
I am also looking for a pup. I have emailed many, many ads from all different websites and it is so obvious now who are scammers and who really want to find good homes for their puppies. I have a rule now.. the only way i will get a dog is if I can pick her up at the person's house.
Whenever I get a email that I know is a scam I will actually mess with them. I try to get their hopes up as if I am really going to send them money. After emaling this one scammer for weeks back and fourth he finally caught on that I wasn't going to send him money he got so mad that he wrote back swearing at me!
I couldn't stop laughing. If you do a search on here you will find many other people have also messed around with them. I think it's hilarious.
