 puppy size
I have heard the general rule is to double the weight at 12 weeks however Iko weighed 2.7 oz at 12 weeks and now is 7 1/2 months and weighs 2lbs 12 oz. He is very small. I hope he will grow lots more. His mom was 6 lbs and dad was around 4. I was given a estimate of around 5 lbs. I did not want a puppy this small. He makes me nervous because he is so tiny. He eats like a champ. Loves cereal for snacks. He looks even smaller becuase I cut his hair into a snauzer cut for the summer. He is adaorable, but he needs to grow. melanie |
