I assume you mean HYPOglycemia...I don't mean to be nit-picky but the difference is huge. Hypoglycemia usually corrects itself as the puppy matures and is long under control by 8-12 months. If there is an underlying medical condition then that is a different story....
Karo and other simple sugars cause a jolt of insulin to be dumped into the blood stream to deal with the sudden high amount of sugar and can actually worsen the condition because it only lasts a short period of time. Then, they bottom out as insulin lasts longer than the sugar.. It is so much better to work to get the dog to eat some kind of nutritious food and eliminate the need for the sugars. Nutri-stat or Nutri-cal at least has some fatty acids and vitamins while Karo has zip except for sugar.
I would suggest research about the condition and maybe if it continues, have liver studies done on the baby. Liver shunt can cause these symptoms as well, as diabetes...
Hope your baby is fine and will outgrow any problems..
