Dennis at first was not a big fan and I almost abandoned the idea of shirts for him because he was also hopping, rolling, and jumping around after I got one on. However, after a few more tries he now has grown to love wearing shirts, in fact one fell on the floor and he went nuts wanting me to put it on him. The only thing he does hate is his coats or anything with Velcro, the noise just drives him nuts.
So don’t give up, and be patient, and by all means do it gently with lots of praise. They are all such Hams!
