You could tell all your family and friends that if they would like a night out, you will watch their kids or dogs for so much per hour. Let them know you are trying to save for a Yorkie and maybe they'll help you while you help them?
OR if you just want to work long enough to save the money, offer to run errands for shut-ins, do light housekeeping, etc. Just a couple of ideas.
