we once had a bad case of fleas he caught from petsmart grooming. i had to give him a flea bath and use special flea bombs in my house to get rid of them. i washed all the bedding, vacumed everything (even the car), + sprayed my yard. it was a pain in the a$$ , but we haven't seen any since.
