I would wish that so much hair hadn't been cut also. But - it must have been a "little too long" on her behind if he could even find her rectum.
Anyway - things like this aren't what I want to happen either - but they aren't very high on my list of serious problems in life.
I had a little poddle mix that had two or three cuts in her life that were short of being pathetic. They were so bad that I tried to keep her hid for a while. And - they were so bad that they were almost (but not quite) funny. However, her hair grew back every time....and life went on.
I wouldn't feel as you do toward my vets. I guess he was just more into taking care of your pup's health problems than he was into grooming....
