Happy 4th everyone!
I'm not crazy about fireworks either. No big plans here. My son 7 at the time had a roman candle to backfire and hit him in the chest 2 yrs ago and is a little scared of them now. Thank God my friends mom was a nurse so she came to see him and said he was ok just powder burns. But my husband was crying more than my son (I was cussing like a sailor at our stupidity) when it happened. DH toted him in the house and my son kept telling him "Daddy I don't want to die!" My husband & I were so scared and shaking that we couldn't even remember to call the hospital so we had Matt to call his mom (the nurse.) But the nurse said he was fine. So the 4th kinda just brings back those memories for us. But I hope eveyone else has a great 4th.
