Hi I have a 7 month old yorkie weighs 3lbs, I switched his food because he totally quit eating dry science diet and switched him to puppy chow he started eating it however he started throwing up. Threw up 5 times from 7-11 so I took him to the vet. The vet has me scared. she thinks it is possible liver shunt. He has not thrown up anymore since that day. He did have a swollen lymph node and she put him on antibotics. He does not act sick. He is extremely hyper, he is small, but has not shown any symptoms except for that one episode of vomiting. Should I be freaking out about possible liver shunt. She wants to do a blood test next week. No more throwing up we are on three days w/out vomiting.Help! I have a little girl who lost her german short hair pointer not even a year ago she will be heartbroken if her puppy is sick. I just could not stand to go through that again. |
