Does any one else have a little dictator running around the house? Daisy is 8 months, about 3 1/2 pounds, but yet she insists upon ruling over both of our approximately 20 lb cats. If the cat for should go anywhere near her water or food bowl, oh my gosh it is all out war. And gosh forbid they should happen to walk anywhere in the vincinity of where she may have hidden a treat. She becomes an alter ego of herself, no more misses nice sweet pup. The fangs come out with the all out growling & barking, and then they're off...she takes off like a little speed demon chasing them out of her turf and back into the bedroom. Occassionally, she'll come running back in retreat being chased by the cat, but usually she is victorious. She even has the nerve to chase them when they go near their own bowls when the mood strikes her.
This morning she was off on a tangent, when she made a minor boo boo. She evidently didn't notice the glass doors were open on the entertainment center as she was beginning to chase and terrorize the cat. All you heard was BANG and yelp, (oh no). Rushing into to her she shook her head and then took off again after them. I think the cat had a laugh after that one, but Daisy didn't and neither did we. Thank goodness she was ok and only slammed the glass door into the dvd player - which by the way will now not open the drawer to eject our dvds -
Any else have a tiny terror?
