I agree, that there should be some topical medication along with the oral meds. Also, are you changing his bedding every other day and mopping and vacuuming every other day. If he has fungus, like ringworm, the spores spread thru the dust in your home so everything that he comes in contact with can be a home for the fungus. Also, if you are not keeping his area and the things he lays on, extremely clean, the fungus can stay alive for up to 4-5 months. So he might be getting it over and over again.
