I bathe Jake about once a week, I many let him go two weeks.

A bath 2-3 times a week is way too much. Yorkies shouldn't have a doggy odor. I could be his diet or maybe his anal glands that is causing the smell. I had that problem with my Lhasa that i had years ago the vet recommended a spray that fixed the problem right away.
